Budding Friendships
The Michigan Dahlia Association, a member of the American Dahlia Society, was formed in 1925/26 to promote the growing of dahlias. With the goal of uniting together persons with mutual interest in Dahlias, to spread this interest in others, to disseminate information on varieties, cultivation, propagation and overall care of Dahlias. Our friendly and helpful members hold dahlia seminars, garden walks, spring tuber and plant sales, and an annual fall dahlia show.

The fifth annual show of the Dahlia Society of Michigan held at Battle Creek, September 15th and 16th was the best yet staged by the society, both arrangement of the displays and general setup showing a definite improvement. While owing to the hot weather, wind and rain, the flower quality was not in general quite up to previous standards, visitors were greatly please with the exhibition.
